Miss Tamil Universe (The Queen of Angels) was pioneered by Mrs Sasikala Naren as Miss Tamil Toronto in 2005. The mandate of this pageant is not on physical beauty but rather primarily focus on Tamil cultural values, Tamil language and intellectual abilities.
