Miss Tamil Universe Canada inc
Miss Tamil Universe (The Queen of Angels) was pioneered by Mrs Sasikala Naren as Miss Tamil Toronto in 2005. The mandate of this pageant is not on physical beauty but rather primarily focus on Tamil cultural values, Tamil language and intellectual abilities. Our focal point is to promote Tamil culture among the current Tamil young generation. Over the years, this concept was very well acknowledged within the community, hence more young women from all over Canada showed interest to participate. In 2013 we established Miss Tamil Canada. As an extension to this concept, this year we plan to promote the event around the world as Miss Tamil Universe. We are proud to say that this is the first time such an event is taking place globally.
Beyond talent and beauty, the Miss Universe Tamil Queen of Angels represents the ideals of our cultural values, self-confidence, community service, and the pursuit of scholastic achievement among young women. We are passionate about empowering young women to showcase their values, and talent. Although they compete and strive to win, the participants build new relationships, support each other and flaunt their powerful personalities. Apart from providing a unique entertainment experience for the spectating audience, our organization has been supporting a deserving charity.
